Open ChipIn Events
You can now announce your ChipIn events to the public via a unique url link provided on the event summary page (just above the description). You can send that link out via email, or post it on a Web site or blog. Individuals who want to participate in your ChipIn event will click on the unique link to arrive at your event summary page where they are asked to enter their name and email address. Their request to be added to the event is automatically emailed to you for approval. What a great new way to promote your ChipIn event!

I am logged in. Is there a way to search for open events to be able to contribute to one? I’m trying to find the Mysore Scholarship event but can’t seem to get to it when logged in.

Tracy… you have to find either a widget, public event link or contact the organizer. I have a widget for the mysore scholarship up at my blog. http://www.darkstar.org

It sure would be great to be able to “List Open Chipins” somewhere and get a list of all the ongoing open events. I am guessing this is on your feature list to-come.
