Soft Launch
We soft launched ChipIn on May 17th and since then have been slowly picking up some coverage online. We are ramping up for a full blown launch in a couple of weeks, but it has been exciting to see ChipIn in the news. It has been amazing to see people talk about ChipIn and even more fun to see the numerous events being created. The team has been working hard to release a bunch of new features. These features have all been at the request of our early users. Thanks for all the great feedback, and please keep it coming ! A couple highlights:
- Open Chipin Events - unique URLs that can be pasted in emails on a Web sites and in blogs. Organizers have the ability to moderate users who request to be added to a ChipIn event. We will add enhancements very soon.
- RSS Feeds
- Custom messages to participants
- Import addresses from Outlook, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, and others
- Resend invitations to participants
- Add or Delete participants
Great new features and a whole bunch more. Wait until next week when we launch our . . .
